Mommy Connections - Ottawa and Area is proud to partner with the Buildup Women Series and Nurtured Minds Psychotherapy to discuss a topic that is very near and dear to my heart. On May 19th we are offering a Healing Circle to offer women the chance to discuss Miscarriage. Pregnancy loss/ Miscarriage is still a taboo subject and often not spoken about, leaving many women to grieve in silence. I know that when I experienced a loss 2 years ago, I felt like I was the only woman... on earth going through it. They say 25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage but this month alone, I have personally known 5 women to experience a loss. Our discussion will be called - Let's talk about the "M" word and this series was built to help break the silence and build a virtual community to support women through normalizing conversations around Pregnancy loss & Miscarriage. Please consider joining us on Wednesday, May 19th at 8pmEST for an evening of connecting, healing and hoping. Click below to register for this free event. And please remember, you are never alone https://lnkd.in/eVbQk-Y #Buildupwomen #healing #support #community #womencommunity #resilience #allyship #mentalhealth #wellbeing

Put your hand up if your career has been impacted by the pandemic? We're excited to share a new program launched by our friends at Tellent - Ambitious Flexible Talented. to help you - it's called The Propeller Experience. They are helping mid-career women find and build work that is worthy of them, and work that works for them in our new normal. Jenny has taken a unique approach to getting women back to work faster (and paid better) - The program addresses the mind and belief system first (mindset) and then offers rapid skills development across leadership, entrepreneurship and digital skills. If you are in transition or ready for a change, check it out [www.propellerexperience.com]
