GTA (Toronto and surrounding area) moms went on a prayer walk 3 years ago. A great way to pray during these covid times.

11 years ago today, in 2009, we were in the final weeks of planning for November 14th of like a simulcast except we had groups of moms and grandmas praying physically together at the same time in different locations across the world and we had 25 locations in Canada! And, our founder was a guest on 100 Huntley Street 2 days before the Arise Cry Out event. The name for this event was based on our founding scripture verse Lamentations 2:19... " Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches if the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at every street corner." And having just celebrated our 35th Anniversary We are continuing to do that but adopting to covid-19 pandemic ways praying on Zoom, Google meets or fongo phone conferences these days . Nothing keeps God down! Let's not lose sight that we are his army proceeding for the next-generation!
