Learn how you can get a free #tree and find the best place to plant it using an exciting new online mapping tool. We’ve partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation ...to be the first city in Canada to offer the Community Canopy Program. Visit www.arborday.org/toronto/ (If you would like to be notified for when the program opens for tree reservations, please make sure you put a space in your postal code in order for the form to be accepted.)

I know many of us have been awaiting public health guidance for Halloween. Today, Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health issued a statement that advised trad...itional door-to-door trick or treating is not recommended in Toronto and we should consider alternative ways to celebrate. https://news.ontario.ca//stay-safe-and-follow-public-healt The City is asking residents to be scary at home and find alternative ways to celebrate besides trick-or-treating, such as carving pumpkins, organizing a movie night and decorating front lawns. Please celebrate only with the people you live with and stay safe!

The City has warned against using playground equipment. Please don't play when others are playing and wash your hands/mitts after every visit. Other cities have closed playgrounds entirely, and that may happen here as well. Stay safe! Help #FlattenTheCurve
