CALGARY // IMPACT + SUPPORT Our charity partner, @bb4ck were feeding almost 5000 kids EVERY school day. With schools being closed, they have had to change on ...the fly to make sure they can still support Calgary kids. They have set up the distribution of grocery cards for struggling families, and are working with local restaurants to use their skills and facilities to help get lunches out to those in need. Restaurants, like our amazing partners @brokinyolk have stepped up to the plate and started providing bagged lunches through their three locations. Customers have been making donations to support the project and many teachers have been picking up the lunches and delivering them around the city. The team at BroKin Yolk and have been overwhelmed by the response and do not have to the capacity to provide all the meals (themselves) required to meet the demand, so help is needed to make sure Calgary children are getting enough to fill their tummies.
