Students for Our Upcoming Obedience classes or our Drop in Practice classes/ Conformation Practice. We will need to delay our classes due to the rise in covid cases. We are now planning to start the classes. Thursday, Feb 17th, following every Thursday evening. Feb.24, Mar. 3,10,17,24 & 31st. (for 6 weeks) Same place and time. Lions Club Magnetic Hill at 6:30 for one hour. Keeping our fingers and paws crossed numbers will go down. Will be in touch as we get closer... to the date. Up Coming Classes for 2022. Save the Dates Moncton Kennel Club is pleased to announce it will be holding 2 sessions of classes this winter 2022. These classes are filling up quickly. Please contact Deborah at [email protected] And I will send out further information on our classes. We cannot hold a spot till you have paid your fees through an e transfer.... Place: MAGNETIC HILL LIONS CLUB 3348 ROUTE 126, LUTES MOUNTAIN N.B. 1. Basic Obedience: This class is for all ages. 6 weeks, one hour classes Every Thursday evening starting January 20 till Febuary 24th Time: 6:30 to 7:30 pm Cost $150.00 2. Novice Rally: This class is for dogs who have completed Basic Obedience classes and are ready for some fun acitities with their owner and a deeper bonding Every Thursday evening starting March 10 to April 6th. Time: 6:30 to 7:30 pm Cost $150.00 3. We are also providing space and equiptment for those that would like to Drop In to practise with their dogs, getting ready for the upcoming shows and trials for 2022. Conformation, Obedience and Rally. There will be MKC members there that will be able to assist you if needed. Just let them know. Every Thursday evening starting January 20 Time: 7:30 pm to 8:30pm Cost $10.00 We welcome all dogs that are up to date in their vaccinations and their human partner who are double vaccinated with proof. We will be following NB Public Heath Rules plus wearing masks at all times while in the building.

MKC is holding its last session for 2021. Practice time for you and your dog at the Lions' Club in Moncton for Conformation, Rally or Obedience. Thursday Nov. 25th starting at 6:30.

Well it has been a challenging year 2021 to put shows and trials on right across the country this year. But thanks to you, MKC was able to host successfully 2 Indoor CKC All Breed Championship Shows and 2 Outdoor CKC Obedience and 2 Outdoor CKC Rally trials. A Big thank you to those that rented / gave us the space to have these Shows and Trials, For the MKC Show Committee that organized and gave freely of their time and skills, For the Judges and Stewarts ...,near and far who came and judged our beautiful and smart dogs, the many, many Volunteers, our Sponsors, and to the Exhibitors who came with a warm smile, and followed the constant changing of covid rules. Due to the upgrade to the Covid19 to Orange status ......for at least the following 14 days starting tonight at midnight.........It is with tremendous sadness and disappointment that we ( the committee) have decided to cancel our October 17/18 all breed agility trial. Moncton Kennel Club CKC AGILITY TRIAL October 17th-18th 2020: Hi everyone, We have been given the go-ahead from CKC to host an agility trial with COVID measures.../precautions in place. As the trial secretary, it’s my responsibility to put out the premium at the earliest possible time and sort through entries as they come in. At the present moment, I’m struggling with minor medical issues and was away this weekend working as a volunteer for a disc dog event in NS. Keeping up with tasks like these is difficult... The additional work required to update the premium relates to COVID precautions and changing dates/judges reflecting our current reality. Bear with me while I fuddle my way through this... MKC has made arrangements for our MKC regular monthly meeting, time and date (Sept. 16th at 7:00 p.m. - 9:00pm) to be held at Coverdale Centre. 50 Runnymede Road. Riverview. The venue allows ample space for physical distancing. Please bring your masks and hand sanitizers to the meeting. Annual dues is to be paid before the commencement of our meeting. Our Moncton Kennel Club memberships are due by September 16th, 2020 for the upcoming year. Renewals are $30 per member and can be paid by e-transfer, cheque or cash.... November 13th 15th MKC 3 Shows & 4 Obedience & Rally Trials, Judges are contracted, CKC Approval is outstanding due to their backlog. The Moncton Kennel Club is continuing to be proactive in continuing to conduct our regular events, to the extent that the pandemic and government regulations will permit. Hello CKC agility people. The Moncton Kennel Club has been approved to host a 5 trial weekend on October 17/18, 2020. At the 51 Acres indoor arena facility ...near Magnetic Hill, Moncton. It’s the same location we were supposed to use back in April when covid was in its flurry! Details and the premium will be coming out soon....we’re just putting all the pieces in place. Watch here for updates. Of course, everything will hinge on the covid situation in the fall....and none of us can predict with accuracy that scenario. Good Morning. The MKC executive members had come together via emails and some hard, sad and difficult decisions were made. #1 MKC May 2020 shows and trials are canceled. Given the current situation with the ongoing pandemic and state of Emergency we are all facing. We look forward to our Nov.2020 shows and seeing you all there. #2. We are canceling all general MKC monthly meetings till Sept. and we will reassess at that time. We will keep our members up to date via emai...ls. If we don't have your correct email addresses now is a good time to send it to our Secretary Susan so we can keep you informed. We would like to thank each and every one of you that supported the Agility Fun Match put on by Christine Neklia in Feb. 2020. Thank you to Christine for holding this Fun Match and donating to us. We really appreciated it. The funds raised will be put towards our MKC fall trial. We are so looking forward to getting back out there with all our dogs.
