After numerous discussions which lead to examining other alternatives for hosting the Greater Moncton Music Festival, the Greater Moncton Music Festival Committee has decided to cancel this year's festival. We feel that people's health has to remain our primary concern. Our Festival focuses on public performance and the joy in creating music that can be shared and appreciated. A virtual music festival which was presented to us as an option is unable to do that. We will beg...in the process of refunding people for their registrations. This can't be done quickly . We have over 500 entries. As Paypal places a percentage on each entry and we will have to do this by mail (postage) we ask that you accept a 15% reduction in the fee that you supplied to the Festival. If you would like to donate your fee or leave the fee as a donation back to the festival that would be very much appreciated. We greatly appreciate your involvement with the festival at all levels- as students, parents, volunteers, adjudicators, secretaries, sponsors, committee members and venue hosts. We see ourselves as one big musical family and we wish you close times together and good health as we move through these uncertain times.
