AT LAST! HERE. WE. GO! We are very excited to announce that we will be officially starting our recreational cast programming on Saturday, November 14th at ALL age-levels! We know the kids just want to get started playing basketball and, with that in mind, we will be starting a little differently this year by having two teams at each gym time and allowing them some time to get to know one another and then have a fun scrimmage!... As we prepare for this event, here is what we are currently working on and our next steps, so you know what to expect: We are currently working with coaches to confirm their weekly practice days/times. Once this is confirmed, we will be rostering players to teams. This work is expected to be complete by Tuesday, November 10th at the latest. Team practices will start in the days immediately following November 14th. Please keep an eye on your email and TeamSnap mobile apps to see what team your player has been assigned to and what their schedule is. Coaching clinics will be held this Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday (depending on age levels) to help our coaches get the season started off on the right foot. Look for times and location later today or tomorrow. Lastly, please note that for safety reasons, at this time no spectators are allowed for divisions U10 (Jr. Mini) and up. Please email [email protected] with any questions you may have. GO HAWKS! Let it fly!

Attention Hawks! Due to our region moving to the orange phase, Moncton Basketball is working hard to create a plan that allows our athletes to continue safely participating in basketball. The Board has decided to postpone ALL activities for the upcoming weekend. This includes all practices and games scheduled for today, Saturday and Sunday. ... In the coming days we’ll be creating a schedule that allows every team to get as much gym time as possible for practices only! We expect practices to resume this Monday, November 23. We will update you on Sunday with further information. This plan takes into account guidelines put in place by Public Health and Basketball New Brunswick. Thanks for your patience!

Hello Parents, Guardians, and Players - I know you are all anxiously awaiting updated information as our season has had a few twists and turns due to COVID. We have come a long way with provincial and recreational evaluations. We have been told that we are unable to use the schools in District 2 until January 2021 at the earliest. We are working very hard with very good progress, and with help from the wonderful individuals from the City of Moncton who have been working dil...igently to help us acquire gym time for the approximately 650 children registered with MBA. Your patience and support are very much appreciated. We are hoping to know within the next week about a plan moving forward. Thank you!
