This picture was taken yesterday as we commenced our homeschooling journey on labour day! Homeschooling was the best fit for our family this year; however, we understand that every household has their best fit. We support and encourage all. #homeschooling #homeschool #school #september #fall #happiness #love #family #mom #momlife #diy #lifestyle #recycle #canada #calgary #returntoschool #workfromhome #workfromhomelife #canadaliving #écoledomicile #education #diy
The buy less, choose well philosophy has to do with choosing to acquire things that are required at the time and promoting a slower pace lifestyle to everyday living. Typically, choosing to buy better seeks higher quality goods that, if taken care of, will last longer and serve you better- a lower consumerism approach. A little something I enjoy doing is discovering handmade items made from local or national designers or artisans to add to my home. Surely, I can't always purchase handmade, however, the philosophy remains in my mind when I purchase items outside that ideology. In addition, I try to purchase second hand or sustainable items that will last. What are some of your ideas about buying less & choosing well?

Homemade bread crumbs are a great alternative to the store bought kind. They are not only healthier, but help save as you can utilize what you already have on hand.
