On Friday, September 4, 2020, The WNGH Foundation was very pleased to accept a $1000 donation from Monique's Chip Stand in Sturgeon Falls that will go towards t...he new CT scanner. Owners Monique Vaillancourt-Mageau and Dan Mageau wanted to give back to their community which was evident in their choice to support the CT scanner. The CT scanner will improve patient outcomes in West Nipissing with improved access to diagnostic testing and will reduce or eliminate unnecessary travel for our patients and their families. The CT scanner is scheduled to be installed the week of October 20, 2020. In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, Monique called ahead to schedule the visit to make the donation so that we could ensure social distancing and safety for everyone. Keep up the great work Monique. Le don a été dédier pour le nouveau tomodensitomètre. Les propriétaires, Monique Vaillancourt-Mageau et Dan Mageau, voulaient redonner à leur communauté ce qui était évident dans leur choix d’appuyer le tomodensitomètre. Le tomodensitomètre améliora les soins de santé pour les patients de Nipissing Ouest en améliorant l’accès aux tests diagnostiques et en réduisant ou en éliminant les déplacements inutiles pour nos patients et leurs familles. Le tomodensitomètre est prévu d’être installé la semaine du 20 octobre 2020. Conformément aux restrictions de COVID-19, Monique a appelé avant pour scheduler la visite pour faire le don afin que nous puissions assurer la distanciation sociale et la sécurité pour tout le monde.
