Monster Next Door Book and Film

Hello everyone, after months of scriptwriting and preparation, we have decided to launch our campaign for the Monster Next Door Film. Here is the link for the campaign ~~~ http://bit.ly/mndfcamp. The reason we are choosing to go the route of crowdfunding is because we want to keep this film independent so that we can have a greater impact on domestic violence with this film. We truly believe that with this film, we can add a shockwave of energy into the conversation of domest...ic violence and possibly help bring changes to the way we handle domestic violence - even on a global scale. In truth, we believe that "the system" failed Sellis because of the numerous events that occurred prior to her death. One of which is that she was choked till she was unconscious twice during her pregnancy and she had to live in a women's shelter for 1 year with a new born baby while her abuser, who had a rap-sheet of over 10 felonies, was allowed to walk the streets freely. And now, there is a 6 year old girl who is forced to live a life story of my daddy killed my mummy. Help us bring this story to life so we can help eradicate this plague on our society. I spent yesterday honouring this special lady - it's been hard for me having been engulfed in her story for the past 9 months but I can't imagine the amount of grief Sellis's mother, brother and children are feeling. I send love to you during this difficult time. It is a great honour to have the opportunity to honour her with this film.

Today, I send love to Karel, Khadija and Alyssa on what is quite possibly going to be one of the most difficult days of their lives. First mother's day without their mom. I hope God's comfort surrounds you today and always.

Today, there is a "Women's day" service in our home church of Deliverance Temple International ... It's heartwarming to know that some of these women will have a great spiritual breakthrough today! We need to do all we can to empower and protect our women because many of them are being broken down and dying at the hands of an abusive partner, someone that's supposed to love them.
