Montana's Fredericton

Our final #YFCtacobattle was @claudineseatery and the tacos were delicious like everything else on their menu. Beef and Shrimp tacos were fantastic, and it was a perfect finish to the battle. I wish I could say I was sick of french fries now but that just isn’t true. Congrats to all the local spots involved in the battle this year, all the tacos were tasty and we are glad we tried every single one. And a massive thanks to everyone who supported us and them every day. A fun couple of weeks and always happy to see so many people supporting local business.

No surprise here but 540 North nailed their chicken tacos. Fried chicken with red cabbage slaw and chippy mayo with pickles and leeks. Was nice to see everyone enjoying the sun outside, what a fantastic spot it is. The beer was flowing like wine!

A flurry of tacos over the weekend to make sure we got to everyone. 4 taco offerings @samsneads_fredericton! We tried them all but our fav was the braised short beef taco. We even mixed in a salad for the first time in two weeks. (Not pictured, the other plate with fries on the side)

Great taco experience at @cannons_cross, you can try all 3 tacos and get a side (apparently I need french fries at least twice a day now or I get cranky) for just $15. The pulled chicken chimichanga, refried bean tostada and pork chili verde were all great and extra jalapeños on the side is a nice touch!

What a pleasant surprise were the tacos at Tan Bueno on the FREX grounds. We were going to bring them home to eat but we didn’t even get out of the parking lot before they were gone. Pulled pork is a must try, but the chicken was a solid runner up. Friendly staff and a ton of food!
