The concert and ceremony is hosted by Jamie Cullum and features appearances and performances by Dee Dee Bridgewater, Terri Lyne Carrington, Christian McBride, and others, including this year's award winners. The award, presented during the broadcast, offers one European and one U.S. jazz musician the opportunity to appear at popular jazz festivals throughout Europe and the U.S respectively, with all expenses c...overed and an accompanying dedicated promotion/marketing team. Du 27 au 30 août, le Festival a envahi les rues de Montréal avec une série de spectacles surprise présentés dans 4 différents quartiers de la ville et qui mettait en vedette Urban Science Brass Band: une emblématique fanfare inspirée des défilés de brass bands de La Nouvelle-Orléans. Sourire aux lèvres, le public qui était sur place a déambulé dans les rues accompagné d'une trame sonore variée et explosive! __... From Aug 27th through Aug 30th, the Festival presented a serie of surprise concerts in 4 different neighbourhoods across the city and featured the Urban Science Brass Band: an iconic marching band who is inspired by New Orleans brass band parades. With a smile on their faces, the people who where on the spot wandered through the streets accompanied by a varied and explosive soundtrack!
