We are having a community garden planning meeting online tomorrow (Thursday, March 25th) at 7:30pm. We are currently in the planning phase and all input is welcome! Please message us for the meeting link.

Did you hear? We want to make a community garden happen at the league. We would love to know if you would be interested in using the gardens once they’re up and running drop a comment or emoji below if you would be interested in learning more! The garden committee will be hosting its first official meeting in the next few weeks, we will keep you updated as we continue to plan.

This contest is being judged tonight. It is so great to see so many displays this year! I’ve seen some of you out deep in the negative temperatures hanging up lights.

We are happy to let you know the rink will be ready starting this evening. We will not be having a rink attendant this year (which means no facilities, nets or skate rentals). Rules will be posted near the rink, so please read them and skate at your own risk. Please make sure to keep your distance from those not in your household. See you out there (from a distance!)

No need to register our judges will drive around all of Montrose to check the neighbourhood out! If you’d like to, please share on our Facebook group (see previous post) or tag us on Instagram to share your hard work!

See you on the back patio this Halloween from 6:30-9pm! We will have the fire pit going, treats and hot chocolate.

Since we are not able to meet in person we have created a new FB group called 'Montrose Community Edmonton'. Please be kind to your neighbours and join in the discussion. We have found when community members ask general questions for our FB page others in the community do not see it, so we hope you join this group and to the discussion with your neighbours!

Exciting news! Dorothy will be back with TWO classes per week at the hall. She will be following AHS guidelines to make it safe for everyone (wearing masks until you’re on your mat, mats 6 feet apart etc.). 8 weeks sessions offered for $120 in either am or pm now, or drop-in for $17 when you’re feeling that autumn stress. #yegyoga #yegcommunityleague

We have been gathering ideas for new ways to socialize during this pandemic. Some of the ideas we have for the future are holding Bingos and a community garden. To make these happen for our community we need some volunteer positions filled. (see previous posts!)
