Moved the piggies outside from the pen in the barn, now that they are bigger. Now I understand where the term 'happier than a pig in ____ comes from. Enjoyed a good hour watching them play, run and test the fencing to find the weak spots. They are so much happier to be outside!!

Time to dig out the seeds and start plotting this years garden! I *love* veggies, but I am especially excited for the future pollination garden on the roadside. Luckily, last year I only had one (manageable) problematic insect to my basil. It will take a year or two to establish the pollination (yr1) and veggie garden (y2) but I can't wait to see a sleuth of colors, beneficial insects and see a new ecology form.
