I am Christine - the face behind the beads I started Moon Child Gems earlier this year as a way to get my creative juices flowing, since my full time legal assistant job doesn't have much creativity to it. To my pleasant surprise (and relief), it's been exactly what I've needed I love creating one of a kind pieces for ...people and seeing their reaction when they receive it! This is definitely a passion of mine and I couldn't be happier to share it with others! The mala on the left is made with rose quartz and tourmalinated quartz. Rose quartz is known as the love stone because it speaks directly to the heart chakra. It helps to raise your self-esteem, restore confidence and balances your emotions. While tourmalinated quartz is a good luck charm, used for groun...ding and clearing. The mala on the right is made with green aventurine and jasper. The green aventurine attracts wealth and prosperity. It helps to enhance intellectual development and learning. The background to what inspired me to start my own jewelry line was being introduced to healing crystals and being fascinated by them. Not only are they gorgeous but they serve a purpose; there are so many different ways in which they can help people. In an effort to create a better version of myself, ...I have become interested in mediation and thus was introduced to malas. After this, an idea was born to start my own line of bracelets and malas influenced by healing crystals. I am so happy to see my vision come to life!
