: 1. put your appointment in your calendar or set a reminder. you’d be surprised how often clients forget about the appointment they booked. 2. arrive on time! sometimes, the earlier the better, but your lash tech is usually preparing for your appointment before you get there - we need that buffer time before you arrive. 3. wash your lashes!!!!! whether you’re a new client coming in with bare lashes or returning for a fill, m...ake sure your lashes are clean when you arrive so no extra time is taken out of your appointment to clean them! don’t show up with a bold eyeshadow look. 4. don’t drink coffee before your appointment. this makes your eyes twitch - a lot! 5. same goes for sugar; feel hyper after eating sugary foods? your eyes will be moving around like crazy too! 6. schedule important phone calls or texts for after your appointment. most of the time, when a client asks us to answer the phone for them or send a text, we do it just because we love you. but seriously - let us make you look beautiful! 7. have an idea of what you want? tell your lash tech beforehand! we love when you show us inspiration pics in time for us to ask other lash techs for support if we need. wouldn’t you rather have that extra ten minutes going towards your lashes instead of scrolling through insta? 8. eat before your appointment. full sets can take up to 4 hours - we can hear your tummy grumbling! 9. if you have any questions about your appointment, please ask us before you arrive. for example: i just had a lash lift, am i okay to get extensions? [you have to wait 6 weeks!]. the last thing we want is to have to turn you down when you’re already in our chair. 10. use the bathroom before you arrive. especially now with covid-19 safety protocols, bathrooms may not be available. thanks for reading xx

? absolutely not! when applied correctly, lash extensions should never ruin your natural lashes in any way. lashes are applied with a 1:1 ratio, and through proper isolation, no lash should be stuck to another, which is what ultimately causes damage. when choosing a lash tech, make sure their isolation is perfect, and they’re only sticking one extension to one natural lash (most of the time, this can be seen on their instagram). ot...herwise, you will end up with broken natural lashes. ? the answer depends on your location, the quality of the work, and the experience the lash tech has. usually when a lash tech is just starting out, they may have promotions running to gain clientele, or offer model pricing. word of advice though; cheap prices may lead to worse quality service. this is not a set rule, and some of the best lash techs offer services at lower prices. however, be aware that lashes are a luxury, and you should be willing to pay the price for the service you want! ? long story short - yes. when a lash tech is just starting out, they tend to take longer to complete a set. however, even the most experienced lash techs with years of practice may still take anywhere from 2-4 hours. quality over quantity all the way! ? yes! this is why you need fills every 2-3 weeks. your extensions will fall out with your natural lash, and this is normal. during what we call shedding season, your natural lashes fall out faster than usual, making your extensions fall out faster than usual too. completely natural! on a normal day, 40% of your lashes are in the resting phase of the growth cycle, which means fills might need to be done sooner, or later, depending on where you are in the shed cycle. also, lash growth due to diet, hormones, stress and other lifestyle factors can cause your lashes to grow at an accelerated rate, which means you may come in for a fill sooner. i hope you babes liked this xx
