Update: it is in fact snowing! We had some pretty wild weather yesterday. Gorgeous 25C to raining and a beautiful double rainbow . Then it was nice again to 1C and what seemed like hurricane winds! Some trees down, but my boat and dock are still there! The wind is still gusting and it feels like it could snow!

Well we might as well fish... always nice to have Grammy and Papa with us. Thankful they could come help with Rylee this week while we were at work.

Sometimes I just need to step outside and remind myself why I’m here.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mom’s out there! I am so grateful to be this little girls mama.

Covid-19 has all of us feeling a bit down, and it is about time we go to the lake and recharge our mindset! We have 4 cabins available to rent through May-October. Our camp can sleep up to 25 people. Lots of room and space for social distancing. Fire pits, BBQs, horse shoes and great swimming off the dock. It truly is the best place to come and relax. Have a small intimate gathering planned? Bachelor/bachelorette party, wedding, retreat or just need a weekend with the family?... We are the place! Did you say fishing?! We are the place! Located in Morson, Ontario on little Raspberry Island, a short 3 minute boat ride from Gill’s Morson Marina. We are 5 hours and 20 minutes from Thunder Bay. 2 bedroom cabins: $1250/week $195/night 1 bedroom cabin: $750/week $175/night

We finished tucking Moonlite in yesterday, with a temperature of -1 and windchill of -5F. Sweet dreams my friend, see you in the spring.

Christmas is just around the corner! We are now offering gift certificates. They can be used towards a stay, clothing/gift shop or towards boat rentals, and guide service.

39 northern pike, caught walleye fishing! Sorry you guys haven’t seen much of us on social media lately. It has been one busy summer/fall! Our house we purchased is quite the fixer upper and was gutted down right to the bones! We have also been doing a lot of work at the resort. Cabin 3 got a bit of a facelift inside! New paint in almost all of the cabins. Cabin 2’s bathroom now has new walls!!! Yes walls excites me beyond belief! ...Haha. It also has a brand new toilet, new bathroom flooring and a few other upgrades. Cabin 1, has new cribbing under it, new paint throughout, and new bathroom flooring. All door jams, window frames and doors have fresh paint. Decks have all been sanded and stained a beautiful cedar colour. Cabin 2, Squirrel Lodge and the fish cleaning house all have fresh exterior paint, and I am sure I am missing a bunch of other work that we completed. We are definitely trying to make the best out of this crazy year and cannot wait to have you all back at the resort! We hope everyone has been staying safe and healthy during these crazy times. As per any news on the border closure, it seems to be the same story every month so far. We are keeping our fingers crossed that things are back to some sort of normal in May and we can see all of your beautiful faces next season. Thank you to our Canadian friends who came to stay with us to help support us in this terrible year. You kept the light in our hearts lit. Having you come support us meant the world to us.
