Went on a trip to go desensitize flicka for trails and ended up afterwards going to the lake with Shikira... today flicks and I worked on our bond greatly. It w...as such a great day that flicka decided to splash me multiple times and I splashed her back and rode her to end the day. This mare has teached me so much in the last 2 months and I am so lucky to have her teach me new things and build my confidence up while mary enjoys semi-retired life. On a good note as well Mary has been feeling great and I have been putting her back to work slowly with the help of new supplements, diet, flat grass paddock and other things im learning about. Mary, flicka, Quill, Maeve and Finn are all doing great and more news to come in a couple of weeks! (Flicka does wear polos for all of her rides to support her suspension but took them off because the water). See more
