River Rinks getting fresh scrape and flood

For those of you that didn't get skates or sticks. We will try to get more but it is not guaranteed that we will. But if you wanted to order some yourself, you can contact Skaters Edge Source for Sports in Sudbury. They have some inexpensive skates and equipment for sale and they ship to Moosonee very fast. We have Hockey Sticks and Skates to giveaway! There’s various sizes of wooden and composite sticks, with a few pairs of training skates. Mostly youth and juniors sizes available! Comment below of you’d like a stick or pair of skates. 2 sticks max. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.... Pick up at the Moose Cree Fitness Centre until 10pm tonight, we open again at 9am tomorrow. Skates are limited sizes and only sized 1, 13 & 2.

This week, we have had over 40 people take advantage of our fitness room or our snowshoes! Awesome work people! keep it going! Our physical health is one of the most important aspects of our lives, especially during this pandemic. Hopefully this week our skate path and outdoor rinks will be ready for use. We have just received approximately 20 pairs of good used skates and brand new skates for people to have.
