Registration is now open for our Field Lacrosse Development Camp this summer!! This outdoor lacrosse camp will be focused on the development of field lacrosse that follows both provincial current government guidelines under phase 4.1 & 4.2 and SLA's Return to lacrosse plan. Starting Thursday July 9th our camp will run until the end of August at the 1996 Summer Games Park: 16th Avenue S.W. & Coteau Street W. 1-2 sessions per week. This camp will serve as a great opportunity fo...r any lacrosse player to hone their skills or gain new ones in the game of field lacrosse. This camp is open to box or field players but will have a field feel. Although, this is a skills camp as restrictions change while the camp is running MJLAX would possibly be able to transition into competition through this format. Tentative schedule is as follows: 11U -Tuesday/Thursday (6-7:15 PM) 13U -Tuesday/Thursday (6-7:15 PM) 15U -Tuesday/Thursday (7:30-8:45 PM) 18U -Tuesday/Thursday (7:30:8:45 PM) Times may adjust a bit with these 4 groups. REGISTER HERE: http://moosejawlax.rampregistrations.com/ U8 (Tentatively Monday/Wednesday early evenings/approx 45 Mins): We'd like to encourage any U8 athletes who are interested to register but not pay until we determine we have enough volunteers and interest to move forward with this group. MJLAX would provide certified coaches for this age group but we would require 1 volunteer per athlete(family) to make this occur and success for this division. SLA has released their Return to Lacrosse Plan with the announcement from the Provincial Government that outdoor sport and recreation activities can return June 22. MJLAX will be sending out information to our members next week with details on what this looks like for us. Stay tuned!!

Jeff Shattler is a 14-year veteran of the National Lacrosse League, and he brought is knowledge and experience to young lacrosse players in Moose Jaw last week.

****Up Coming Season Info**** We just wanted to post an update on League Games and Practices for the upcoming season GAMES We will not have a League Game schedule until the first week of April. Novice through Midget can expect to play games home or away any weeknight and or weekend there is no set days for games to be played PRACTICES... Mini Tyke/Tyke can expect to practice Wednesday and every second Saturday times TBA. We will post the schedule on our website by the first week of April Novice - MIdget We will not have a full practice schedule until we have our league games finalized. We will update the website as we go with the practices we can schedule. We are hoping to have a few practices throughout March at Yara and will update as we confirm those times! See more
