This year, you will be able to camp at Moose Lake Gospel Camp, like you would in a traditional campground. During your stay, you will also be given the opportunity to attend fireside services, and small group sessions. We desire to have child & youth activities available during the day, and will open up th...ese activities if restrictions/guidelines allow us to do this. Please join us this summer! This is an excellent way to bring your friends and family who may not normally come onto our campgrounds during a regular Family Camp program. Wholehearted Dates: July 1-20 & August 5-17, 2021 (During these available dates, you are able to choose your length of stay! Camp for 2 nights, or 2 weeks... it's up to you!) You asked, we listened! We have been hard at work collecting items for our first ever art auction and we are beyond thankful with how eager everyone is to contribute! We have had a number of you reach out to ask if we could expand the auction to other items as well. After a short discussion, we came back with a categorical YES!! If you have items to donate towards our auction we will gladly accept them. We have a few people in Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatchewan who will be ab...le to collect and deliver. The deadline to contribute is June 1st so feel free to get creative with items you are able to add and send us a message if you have any questions. Thank you again for all your support. Moose Lake has a number of large upcoming projects that are needing our attention so our hope is to have this auction give us a great start to reaching our renovation goals. Calling all Moose Lake Artists! Moose Lake Gospel Camp is happy to announce our very first art auction expected in July 2021! We are thrilled to be hosting this exciting new fundraiser while also showcasing the many talents of our MLGC family. Currently, some of the details of this auction are still in the works. If camp is allowed to take place, the auction will be held during the week of family camp which will hopefully ensure all campers can view and bid on all art exhibit...s available. If we are not able to hold an official camp again this year, we will make this an online event, likely through facebook, that will also span over a two week period to allow all campers the chance to participate virtually. Unfortunately, Moose Lake has now been unable to host campers for two years now, potentially this summer will make it three years. This has brought about much financial strain for our non-profit organization and we are trying to get creative in how to effectively fundraise in new and exciting ways. We are looking for fellow artists who are willing to donate their art towards this auction. We are hoping to have all pieces gathered no later than June 1, 2021 so we have enough time to prepare for the auction. Any art medium is welcome from quilters to painters, poetry to woodworking. Although not necessary, we are hoping to see some camp related submissions so people are able to take a piece of Moose Lake home with them. If you are able to donate a piece for this auction, please let us know in advance. When you send your submission, please note if you have a minimum suggested bid. We are excited to announce our dates for Summer 2021! We are currently going ahead with full summer programming. We will continue to keep a close watch to AHS guidelines, and thus will plan accordingly. If overnight camps are not allowed, we are currently in the planning stages for Plan B. Along with the large number of other summer camps across our country, we are hoping and believing that we will be able to operate as we have historically. Registrations are open! At t...his time we are suggesting that for all who register, to please only make the $50 deposit. If refunds must occur, we will not refund the administration fee. Please partner with us in prayer as we continue to look to God for guidance as we plan the summer!
