May is National Physiotherapy Month! The Canadian Physiotherapy Association has developed a ‘Did you know?’ campaign for the month. Throughout May we will share tidbits and facts about us and our profession in our clinic’s own version of ‘Did you know?’

Join the Community Challenge! What a great way to get moving this spring and challenge yourself to walk/run 5km, 10 km or a half marathon! Early bird registration is open until May 15. Proceeds will go towards the development of minor sports fields.

A study out of Spain found that kids who are more active tend to have more brain power. The study looked at children who were classified as overweight/obese a...nd found that increased motor ability was associated with increased abilities in language processing and reading- the mechanism was found to be an increase in gray matter in specific gyri.
