I was reminded about laptop stickering in a post in a Logic Pro forum ("that's software for making music, and yes, I geek out like that..." ) - it's something I stopped doing a long time ago with this guy: an OG white plastic MacBook (with hard shell bottom, not the cheaper-quality soft crap that came later). Not my first Apple computer, but was my first laptop! I maxed out the RAM to 8GB and the drive to 750GB!! It even survived a bike accident - ran for another 3 years... after that before blinking off one day as I attempted to turn it on. We played music together, made music together, checked email together in cafes with people asking me "what's the real Chocolate Fountain"? My standard answer: "What, you don't know?!" and then go back to what I was doing. It's been announced today that Rap God Legend MF DOOM passed away - on Oct. 31. Like Wikipedia, I don't know what to believe... I hope it's not true. But if it is....
