May 4th is International Firefighters Day. To commemorate this important day and to honour Fire Fighters across North America, the Canadian Fallen Firefighters ...Foundation, in partnership with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, has arranged for a very special tribute. Between 10:00 and10:15 PM, Niagara Falls will be lit in red to honour Fire Fighters and the CN Tower will also be lit in red, alternating every 30 minutes throughout the evening. CFFF President David Sheen will be in attendance for the lighting of both the Canadian and American Falls. The North Dundas Display of Lights will be taking place on Friday, December 4th and Saturday, December 5th from 6:00-9:00pm at the Rideau Auctions Liquidation C...entre in Winchester. This year, the parade will shift into a stationary event with spectators driving by each float. Please note that all spectators must remain in their vehicles at all times. The planning committee has been working with the Eastern Ontario Health Unit to ensure all participants and volunteers are safe and following all public health measures.
