Happy Friday everyone! We are off to Vegas this afternoon... and yes, child free! I’m looking forward to sleeping in and some relaxing by the pool. What are you all up to for Thanksgiving weekend?!

I got home from a photo shoot tonight and the sunset was so gorgeous up from our master bedroom. I looked at Liv and said should we go take some pics with the sunset? Her eyes bulging out of her face, YES! So, I snuck her past her sister & dad who were getting ready for bed, raced out to the car, drove with her on my lap down to the end of the street and snapped a few of my little girl. It was our little secret.

I’ve made Starbucks my office for the day and I think I’ve turned into a zombie from staring at my screen for hours on end. But the good thing is- I finally got some sneak peeks done for the Fowler Family!

The yoga pose you avoid the most is the one you need the most. Wise words from my sister @be.bright.yoga when I told her that my least favourite pose is this exact one- Garudasana Or Eagle Pose. I have yet to figure out why I avoid this pose so much. However, I’ve slowly come to the realization that the lessons from yoga apply to many different aspects of our lives. Why do we avoid pursing our dreams? Why do we avoid taking new adventures, exploring our talents or pushing ourselves to the next level? Fear is the answer to that question. Fear to fail, fear to be judged or just the fear of the unknown. Having that said, like in yoga, the things you avoid the most could be the exact thing you need in your life right now. So DO IT! We only live once and we need to let go of the fear and go for IT! Ps. How beautiful is my sister!!

If you didn’t already know, I grew up with two sisters, Courtney (older sister) & Taylor (younger sister.) Taking photos for this adorable family last night already had me nostalgic with the three little girls. Then I heard someone calling my name, only to realize they were calling the middle daughter over and her name was Morgan. Then, they shouted out Taylor and I realized the youngest daughter was named Taylor. They reminded me so much of us girls growing up and it made me smile. @knlabelle

Staaaaaappppp with the cuteness Rozzy Bear! I’ve had these two in front of my camera as an engaged couple, expecting couple, new parents and now pretty much veteran parents! So honoured to take photos for these three who I love and adore so much.

I absolutely adore taking photos of this family. These kids are the sweetest & they didn’t stop giggling the entire time. Thanks for the fun evening @dawnaknull and @dustinknull. Also, I think you need to have at least 10 more babies.

Happy Family Day! We asked Olivia what she wanted to do for family day and she said I want to make supper with you! Let’s make pancakes for supper! So, we are off to take the kids swimming this afternoon and then making breakfast for dinner! Hope everyone has a great day spending time with the ones you love. It was a busy weekend of sessions and thankfully the weather could not have been more beautiful! Although I must admit, it was a little odd having snow/ ice on the lake while shooting in 26 degree weather. But that’s Alberta for ya! Anyway, I’m super happy for these two who will be welcoming this little one in just 4 weeks!
