Hey everyone! I’m so excited! Massage Therapists have received guidelines from our governing body (CMTO) and here are some things you should know when booking an appointment with me at this time. upon my return,... -I will wear a mask at all times. A new, clean mask for each client. -I will be disinfecting the treatment room and all items used, including door knobs, between each client. -I will thoroughly wash my hands and arms with soap and water before and after each client. -I will wear gloves if that is YOUR preference. Clients, -You will be screened (asked a few questions) for symptoms of COVID-19 prior to your appointment, either by telephone or messenger. If you screen positive, we can no longer go through with the appointment. -When arriving to your appointment we ask that you wait in your car or in the parking lot 6ft away from others. When your therapist is ready, they will come to the door to greet you. -We ask that you sanitize your hands before and after the treatment (sanitizer approved by health Canada will be provided). - keep in mind, in-person massage therapy treatment should only be provided when the anticipated benefits of treatment outweigh the risks to the client and the rmt.
