Come join the fun! Registration is open for new dancers who would like to register for all class. To register send us a message or email and we will let you know what classes have availability. ... Classes start back up on January 4th
If you are on a break from the studio, keep your body in shape! Work the fundamentals of acro: strength, flexibility, limbering, tumbling and balance. Stuck for... space? Save tumbling for when you get back to the studio - but keep your strength up! *We encourage you to work to your ability level for safety. 1 Plank: We love this skill because of it's full body benefits! Try planks in different positions or add controlled movements to intensify the workout. 2 Cobra: Allow your body to move after a long time of sitting or sleeping. The cobra position will open the back, chest, neck and hips. Remember to lengthen through the spine and not crush through the lower back. 3 Bridge: Work shoulder flexibility drills to achieve the alignment of the shoulders over wrists. This is a slow process, keep up the hard work! 4 Split: Many dancers like to show open splits because it is easier to sit flat to the floor. Working the square split aids development in kick overs, walk overs and layouts. 5 Balance: Try to get upside down during time off. This helps keep the balance training up. Work for longer holds. If you are a dancer that gets headaches in class, being upside down helps acclimatize the body. Remember to stay hydrated! Our digital apps have great tools to train at home! Teachers check out the AcroDance Resource Center for at home practice tools! #acrobaticarts #acrobaticartscertified #acro #acrotraining #acroathome #acrodanceresourcecenter

It is very important that all of these are followed and respected for the safety of all dancers. We ask that any dancers who have cold/flu symptoms to not attend class. Masks must be worn in all common areas of building. Dancers must sanitize when entering/exiting the building. Dancers must keep 6 feet distance from others when entering and in common areas.

When it is safe to open again we will be opening up in a new location not far from our current location! ... Our downtown studio has been the perfect studio for us the past couple years but we have quickly outgrown it. I will have more details when we know it is safe to open.

This year we started a new club! The triple split club! When a dancer has all three splits with proper alignment (squared hips).... They get their name on the wall. First dancer on the wall Anelia! She has all three of her splits and she has worked hard for them!
Our first week back is off to a great start!
Dance Classes start tomorrow! I wanted to share a few reminders for class! Always be kind to each other, support each other. What seems easy for you may be challenging for someone else.... Always try your best it’s okay not to get something correct on your first try. I can’t wait to see new dance friendships form and I can’t wait to watch you all succeed this year!
With classes starting soon I have made a video to show all of the dancers what dance class looks like with the new protocols! Thank you Madison for helping! Parents are not permitted in building. ... Do not drop your child off until you see your teacher at the door to let them in! On the first day I will have registration forms and Covid-19 form for parents to fill out. (If you filled a out one this summer you are good to go!) I also recommend dancers bring a small bag or a baggy to put their mask in when it is not being worn.
