Mocking up the new kitchen shelves. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Easter. It’s great to have time to do projects around the homes and spend time with the kids. I love that my oldest is actually strong enough to help with jobs like this now. #metal #diy #homerenos

Getting organized! The current state of my shop is a bit of a disaster. I’ve got two large projects on the go, but I needed to hit pause and work on some shop cleaning to help with my workflow and help give me some piece of mind. #woodshop #handtools #organization @ Edmonton, Alberta

Metal shelving brackets are almost done. A bit of refining and sanding them they’ll be ready for finish. I’m thinking just a clear coat spray finish, but I’m open to suggestions. #diy #metalworking #homeprojects #metal

Today is a hard day but not because of what’s happening in the world. Today marks the one year anniversary of my dad passing. I was so happy when 2019 was over because it marks the end to one of the most challenging years of my life. 2020 must be the jealous stepchild because it’s trying pretty hard to overshadow 2019... My Mom has been such a rock in the past year and I’m so encouraged by her strength and confidence to get out and live her life. A good friend of hers said; g...rief is like a box on the shelf. You take it down and go through it, but then you’re able to put it back on the shelf and move forward know you can come back to it, and not stay in it. Here’s my big reason for sharing this, especially during these time. For those stuck at home, Laid off from work and worried about making mortgage or rent payments, or working the front lines helping other. Take moments outside that box. Focus on what’s good or bring you joy. We will get through this. 2021 is just around the corner and it doesn’t believe in social distancing
