This December I am collecting donations for the organization Pathfinder Youth Centre Society to help them fill 50 hampers for the participants and their families. This year has been especially tough for everyone and we would love to bring joy and cheer to these families during the holidays. The Pathfinder Youth Centre Society is dedicated to helping at-risk young people (ages 15-30) overcome the obstacles that prevent them from returning to school or entering the workforce. ...Our certified youth counselors mentor to the specific needs of each client teaching life skills, preparing the way for re-entry into school and/or accessing employment training. They provide these services to approximately 90 participants across Greater Vancouver each year. To date, many of their Pathfinder alumni have found full or part-time employment or achieved a BC High School Graduation diploma.
