People pleasing, or fawning can evolve as a strategy to survive amidst an emotionally unsafe environment. While not immediately as noticeable as other responses to trauma it nonetheless disempowers freedom and keeps us in loops of fear and bondage.

Lay it down, hand it over, release the shame. You are utterly loved.

Each of these behaviours once kept us safe, but now hold us ensnared. Healing brings freedom to release ourselves from condemnation, retire these old coping mechanisms with a medal of honour and step into true peace.

Back in the office today after a refreshing time offline. And in keeping with my practice what I preach motto, I will be decreasing my activity on this page. Listening to silence in the dark beside another's pain...even through a screen is love personified.

The lie "real men don't cry" is as toxic as the numerous lies about femininity. Authenticity and vulnerability are tools for healing, weapons to destroy dysfunctional patterns that keep us stuck regardless of our chromosomes.

In this season of darkness nature reminds us growth and restoration happens underground. Spring will come, inside and out.

Because the carers have carried so much this season... it's past time to put on your own oxygen masks.

Fake fine and / or fighter are not the endgame of our healing.

We are holistic beings, mind, body and spirit so intimately connected .

You wouldn't knowingly breath in asbestos.....
