Update. The last of the sculpting is done. Now I move on to painting and the varnishing/sealing. It's name is Snail Lord. Embedded in the swirls are clear quartz shards. In the basket is clear quartz, smokey quartz, blue kyanite, lapis lazuli, snow obsidian, and amethyst.

Started a new project I'm excited about. I asked my hubby and daughter to make shapes for me out of tinfoil. From those shapes I am creating my new sculpture. I've never made a snail before, so this is a fun learning experience. I also decided on having a bit of whimsy with the shell. A long time ago I wanted to do water droplet paintings. I got one done and then sat on the other for years. Yesterday I tried finishing it, but I screwed up. I decided to attempt to save the painting by doing something else with it. In my thinking I remembered a beautiful cloud painting my multi-talented sister did, and Bob Ross's voice popped into my head saying "And we'll put a lonely little tree right here." Using her and Bob Ross as inspirations, I did this. And I absolutely LOVE it!
