Still working on getting the beets to cooperate again so we will just hold off on them until after the new year. Waiting for the new Fava seed and it should be available to you again mid December, hopefully. Loving the Turnip greens. They pair very well with pork or BBQ. ... We are updating the available crops again. Lucinda (me) fell in love with Turnip greens and Chicory so we made a combination which included Yellow Mustard and Daikon Radish for a Gourmet Collard Greens angle. Yum! We will grow the following all November and gave a heads up for What will be available all December too. life is getting so hectic that we thought a bit more consistency would be needed. Tons of variety but available all month. We will change up the Three Featured ...Items each month. We also dropped all of our prices. Food is expensive and even though we will take a hit to the pocketbook our passion has always been for health as well as variety so we want to make sure more people can access these. They taste amazing but they are also SUPER healthy.

Ok, now look at these radish and mustard varieties from Mumms Sprouting seeds. We source our seed from Mumms because they are in Sask and have a wonderful selection of Organic seed. We love variety too. We will have all of these varieties for take home samples at both the Watson and Wadena Farmers Markets this week.

This week from Mossback Farms: Free Mustard and Radish samples to take home and try when you come to our table at the Farmers Markets (Previous post lists the varieties of Radish and Mustards). As well, Micro Cilantro is half price this week as we grew so much for fresh salsa season. We will be at both Watson and Wadena Farmers Markets this week. Watson on Wednesday 10-1 at NcNab Park Clubhouse and Wadena on Satuday 10-2 at the Museum. ... As the Markets are going to be winding down this month we will also have our Monster Micro Club information and sign up at these Markets.

Tis salsa season and so this week we have 3 beautiful flats of fresh micro cilantro for half price. They are the perfect addition to salsa if you like cilantro. This week we will also have free samples of the newest radish and mustards we are trying out. The pictures below are somewhat yellow because the flats have just come out of germination and we are super excited to share them with you. We will have cilantro and all of the mustard and radish micro variations at the Wat...son Farmers Market this Wednesday from 10-1 at McNab Park Clubhouse. Come get a sample to take home from the Farmers Market and then let us know what you think. If you dont make it to the market you can still comment on this post what you think about the colours, spice or general interest in the varieties.

The last two Markets in Wadena will be the 5th and 12th of September at the Wadena Museum from 10-2. We will be there. We hope to see you too.

Filling up the new silicone pouches for one of our first Club Members. Message us if you are interested in having Micros delivered at bulk prices.

You may not know this but our seed, dirt/mats and process are all organic. Today we got a new shipment of hemp mats so we can keep growing the variety of nutritious and delicious micros for you.

This week we have the following Microgreens for Wednesday at the Watson Farmers Market at McNab Park 10-1 pm And Wynyard Farmers Market 4-5:30 pm... Thursday deliveries to Englefeld and Watson between 3-7 pm Friday deliveries to Humboldt and Saskatoon Saturday at the Wadena Farmers Market at the Wadena Museum 10-2 pm We are growing Arugula and Cress Microgreens and they might be ready for Wednesday but they will definitely be ready for Saturday. We will keep everyone posted.

**Mossback Farms Micro Monster Club** Many of our loyal customers have expressed interest in being sustainable. We listened! In order to become a more sustainable microgreens supplier, and save us and you on packaging cost, we have purchased reusable containers which will in effect reduce our footprint on the environment. To implement our club, we have purchased some new swag, and now to explain: 1. When you join the club, you will receive: a. (2) Cooler Bags... b. (8) Silicone Pouches c. (4) Monster Micro club cooler paks d. (10) Key tags 2. Half of the items will remain with us and the remainder will be delivered to you with your order. 3. When you order again, just return the cleaned silicone bags and gel paks in the cooler bag not forgetting the key tags. The key tags allow us to sort out whose bag is whose, as well as label what green is in what silicone bag. 4. And thats it! As you keep ordering, you keep getting your cleaned bag back, and so on. Now for the cost: The cost to join the club will be $75. Basically, this covers the cost of the bags, etc. If a bag is not returned or if it is damaged, the costs are as follows: 1. Cooler bag - $30.00 2. Silicone Bag - $7.50 3. Gel Pak - $5.00 4. Key Tag - $2.50 If you do not want to participate anymore, you may return all of the items for a full deposit refund. And thats it! So Simple! And a great way to help be sustainable. Each cooler bag will have a laminated participation instruction sheet and pricelist for your convenience.
