Back teeth need love too! . . These specific teeth had been ravaged by decades of untreated gastric reflux.... I restored them with some absolutely gorgeous crowns by a super talented local ceramist but really it’s a shame we needed to do this work altogether. My PSA: It might not be just a little heartburn. Last day of 2020 in my @grandstreetdental x @dusendusen PPE. I won’t miss wearing scrubs + mask + mask + hat + loupes + face shield for 8 hours each day but I might miss this PPE just a little bit! Happy holidays, everyone!

Most of my days for the last 15 years have been spent treating patients. So when that routine came to a screeching halt a few weeks ago, I didn’t know what to make of it. I have been super busy looking after things at home, overseeing my daughter’s schooling and spending hours staying on top of the ever changing COVID landscape as it pertains to my profession. So boredom is not something I’ve experienced but there has been...something...missing. Today I ran my first virtual... appointments and it really hit me just how much I MISS MY PATIENTS!!! It felt so good to be able to connect with patients again and help them in the ways that I am able to remotely. Patient care is at the core of what I do and I just can’t wait to get back to it. Art in every day dentistry....I love the way the contrasting colours of the light and heavy body impression materials look against each other. I really do! Still can’t wait to bring a #digitalscanner to the studio though. I’m sure I’ll only miss this a little bit.
