When is the best time for maternity photos? I recommend between 32 and 36 weeks. When should you book? Sooner is always better, but if your schedule is quite flexible you can push it to 3-4 weeks in advance. If you need an evening or Saturday session it's best to book much further ahead. Ideally, newborn sessions are completed within baby's first 2-3 weeks so in order to get in the studio within that time frame it is best to book your session before baby is born (usually in your 2nd trimester).
