MAHÀL In Tagalog, this word has a dual meaning. Either its a term of endearment (we like to think of it as love) or used to describe something expensive. With Valentines Day right around the corner, we thought there was no better time to introduce our love potion - MAHÁL. Smokey yet sweet, this drink features mezcal, creme de violette, lime and maple lavender syrup. Our bartender put it best, love is expensive - but always worth it.
Pasta... at an Asian place? Chef Franny gives a twist on one of his favourite Italian dishes - aglio e olio. Traditionally made by sautéing garlic with olive oil and serving fresh this dish is simple and honest according to Chef. He pays homage while incorporating his own flair with our XO scallop capellini. House-made XO sauce, angel hair, snow pea leaf, bay scallops and a whole lot of goodness. Enjoy it Monday through Sunday.
A lot goes into creating cocktails, not to mention a whole cocktail list. Our team has come up with its shortlist - and it does not disappoint. Featured pic: Pendulum No. 1, named for being the perfect balance of acidic, creamy, bitter, and sweet. Tag us, we would love to know what you think.

Raise your hand if you like spice! There is a scientific scale for measuring the 'heat' or 'spice' from peppers called the Scoville Scale. The Szechuan pepper, used in our popular szechuan eggplant dish, comes in hot at ~50000 Scoville units (the max being 2000000 units). So its spicy but you can still feel your taste buds after. What's your Scoville max?
Did you know that green chartreuse is the only liqueur in the world to have a natural green colour? It is herbaceous, bold and some might say pungent but with the right combination of flavours it can produce a beautifully balanced cocktail. Our BERDE BOMB has tanqueray, green chartreuse, calamansi, and cucumber giving a refreshing twist to the 130 herb liqueur we call green chartreuse.

In traditional Filipino culture you wouldn't normally see chopsticks used. The spoon and fork would be the utensil of choice but with the influence of other Asian countries - and staying true to Mother Tongue's unique cuisine - we use the chopsticks with select dishes. What's your preference of utensil? #chopstick or #spoon and #fork
