Here are 10 reasons why Resistance Bands (Particularly Loop Bands) are one of my favorite go to forms of exercise equipment, other than the fact that they provide a form of resistance: 1. They allow a person to easily train all planes of movement in a way that no other equipment can, while allowing an easy transition in angle of movement and body position 2. The ultimate goal of the body is to move well as a unit, over and above any other goals. Whether your goals are rehabilitation based or Strength and Conditioning based, developing, improving and maintaining quality movement should be part of the strategy. Even if you are out of pain after undergoing injury rehabilitation, if your movement is poor, you are very likely to reinjure yourself!... From a training perspective, developing muscle mass or losing weight without good movement is not a great place to be!
