The last couple of weeks have been challenging for me. I felt like quitting, I felt like not showing up, I felt like I’m not making an impact, I felt like I’m not inspiring. I slowed down, I took some days off from my workouts, I paused my social media, I took some time to just be with me. I still showed up for me most days I just didn’t share it! Today, I remembered something I heard, and that was to be graceful with myself! ... It’s okay to take time off, it’s okay to step away, it’s okay to say no, and it’s okay to do nothing! This is your life, your story, do it how you want, do what you want, and make it yours! Happy Tuesday!!

Yesterday, this kid forgot his taggy (fav pillow) at my parents. So when it was bedtime and he couldn’t find it he was devastated. Almost crying when he realized he had forgotten it. Part of me wanted to convince he’d be fine without it for a night, but he was so sad it kinda broke my heart. So I drove to my parents in my pyjamas to get it for him, and this right here, this smile and this hug for taggy was confirmation that getting it was the right choice! And he slept all night!! Do your kids have fav stuffies/blankets or pillows??

Heated seats & steering wheel on today! Fall is beautiful but I’m so not ready to ditch my birks just yet!

My mini me! She’s so much like me, sometimes we drive each other crazy! She’s smart, sassy & funny! She keeps me on my toes and while I am teaching her she has taught me so much! I still can’t believe she is 10, and while people have told me the teenage years are the hardest I am looking forward to them because I love every stage including the hard ones while watching her grow into herself and who she is meant to be! And if my relationship with my mom has taught me anything, we will be best friends when she is older!

Having depression/anxiety is hard. When you are high functioning, and are struggling a lot of times the people around you don’t see it. The last 2 days have been hard. I felt paralyzed mentally/emotionally and it was hard to get through the days! I ate most of my feelings in food, and wanted to lay in bed and do nothing! But I did it! I pulled myself out And it only took 2 days! Not so long ago, feelings like this would have thrown me right off track and had me down for... weeks or months! But thanks to my health & wellness adventure, I am back at it after 2 days and I feel so much better today! It’s so important to listen to your body & your mind, and rest when needed!

Started the day with a workout, a park visit, chatting & walking with a friend, now all snuggled in for family movie night!! My heart is so happy and full! Saturdays are the best!

When it’s payday from your side hustle, and you bought yourself some new workout clothes!

Today was too nice of a day not to get out somewhere and enjoy some sunshine! And I may have bribed Lincoln with DQ to get back on his bike! He hasn’t rode it really since he fell off and broke his arm! So proud of him, he got back on and did about 5 laps!
