Hey everyone, Mike here. I'm the manager at the Detail Studio, and I just wanted give an update after our charity carwash! So while I'm a detailer by day, I'm a gamer by night. I'm part of a Twitch gaming group named Dork Tales, that mostly streams Dungeons & Dragons. Every year we participate in the Extra Life: Play Games, Heal Kids campaign, and this year was no different except that instead of gaming this year, I put on a carwash. Thank you to everyone who came out and m...ade our Extra Life carwash a massive success when we raised $1,200USD for the hospital. What's even more impressive is that thanks to all of you who that just wanted a clean car, we helped my gaming group raise over $10,000USD, with 100% of that going to BC Children's Hospital! This is an amazing feat that we couldn't have reached without our amazing community that shared the event posts all over the place, and I'm sure that the kids YOU helped to heal are thankful as well.
