Mount Seymour History Project 11.01.2021

Thought I'd send out an email update to the MSHP and my life. Things are actually going pretty good, I've officially retired from Mt. Seymour Resorts, hence lots of free time, but as you can imagine, as I live up here and have worked here for 45 years I'm still active with Mt. Seymour and plan to still "help". Our (my wife and I) plans to travel are on hold until the challenges of this virus settle down, but what a wonderful opportunity to clean up the MSHP. I've digitized th...e 30++ cassette recording I made mostly in the late 90's and I'm listening to them now. More than happy to share with MSHP members. Also I'm sorting through 1000's of photos. This will take time but I'll share as I get them catalogued. More than happy to hear from MSHP people by phone or e-mail, hey! I even do Facetime now. Hopefully this summer I will be able to do lots of "Uncle Al's Cabin Tours" if not for the public, at least for families of the pioneers and hopefully find a few more cabin sites. Remember what I always say, If your sorting through old stuff, and don't want it. Don't throw it away, I'll store it for you! So stay healthy, make the best of these challenging times and keep in touch. See more
