A rainy day on Vancouver Island is a good day to be warm and dry in the cab of an Eltec! The good sight lines, fast cycle times and outstanding multifunction making short work of some small diameter second growth.
Visiting a Eltec 317LL/SouthStar605 out on demo with a Vancouver Island customer. Very small wood, the Eltec’s superior speed and cycle times really paying off!
A Eltec LL317 taking the rest of the Thanksgiving weekend off after a busy Saturday! Wishing everyone a safe and delicious Thanksgiving!
It’s finally public! Kelway has started his new adventure in Forestry and Heavy Equipment with Woodland Equipment Ltd. He will be selling the Eltec and Hyundai equipment lines. Based in Prince George for the time being he will also be handling new Vancouver Island customers! Give him a follow or call him at 250-617-7272 for what will undoubtedly be outstanding customer service and machine knowledge
That’s a wrap on the Holbrook Dyson Logging job on the North Island. Off to Horne Lake for some small diameter second growth. Thanks to HDL for the opportunity and professionalism!
It's with very mixed feelings Mountain Forestry would like to announce that we are taking an indefinite hiatus from forestry. A number of factors include: Our partners planning to have more quality time at home with their families, a generally poor margin for the risks we take and the lack of credible steep slope opportunities. We would like to say a massive thank you to all of our families who have put up with us traipsing all over BC and rarely being home! Also, a huge sho...utout to our suppliers and customers everywhere. Thank you for your support! Last but not least, our Facebook followers. In the last three years 91.7% of our work has come from Facebook! An absolutely stunning number, something we would never have dreamed of when we started Mountain Forestry in 2013. It has been a huge honour to have enjoyed the support of so many people all over the world sharing their passion and ours. Thank you for every Like and Share! It meant the world to us. Mountain Forestry plans to have everything wrapped up by the end of 2017. We will be selling all of our processors and will therefor be unavailable for any processing opportunities. We wish our competition the best of luck! Stay safe
Saw something shiny in the Inland yard in Campbell River. Nice looking truck
