For myself I find it easiest for myself and clients to have packages put together- but of course one size doesn't fit all so they are super easy to customize to fit your families needs

Eating the rainbow is beneficial not only for fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. It's beneficial for everyone so even your partner can jump on board Packed with antioxidants, vitamins, folate, and fibre this meal is delicious and very customizable. Add proteins, add carbs, add different veggies or dressings! I took some inspiration from @oceanbeing.health and made it our own! With basmati rice and Greek dressing, plus all the veggies. -... - - - - #nursing #exclusivelypumping #doula #postpartumdoula #nutrition See more

Not everyone breastfeeds and that's OKAY! Formula can give families everything baby needs to thrive and then some. Some families decide right from the get go to bottle/formula feed and it brings a lot of anxiety and worry especially when they're birthing in a hospital. Will the nurses push breastfeeding, will they hold back the formula. When I was in hospital with Reid the second night I was EXHAUSTED and SORE. I rang my call bell and asked for a bottle of formula. The nurse... asked me if I was sure, if I just wanted help with latching, if she could just see my latch, if I was sure I didn't want to just keep trying. I said NO. I want the formula I want to sleep and I want my baby fed. Finally she left and came back with formula. Baby got fed by dad, mom got to rest, and baby was happy. Thankfully I never had that nurse again but, not all women in hospital are that lucky, they have to face the judging stares, whispers and little comments. * Even if they aren't happening. Postpartum minds trick you, hormones are falling rapidly and the sheer physical exhaustion and pain from giving birth can make your mind think things are happening that aren't. There's already a stigma that formula is bad and the parents are lazy but that's not true by any means. The reason a family chooses formula is their own choice they don't owe anyone and explanation.

Cloth diapers! Did you know that they're still used in 2020? There's actually a few different variations of them compared to when our grandparents used them! Pockets, All-in-ones, flats etc ... I cloth-ed my oldest from 3 months until 2 years old with a mix of pockets and flats - then started using them with my son and once he out grew the newborns it just became way too much for me to keep up with so we're in disposables for both of my little babes. ... *Know your limits it's okay!!* But many families cloth full time, part time, and even once in a while with single babies or multiple in diapers! If you have any questions about cloth feel free to send a message - - - - - - #clothdiapers #postpartumdoula #fluffbum
