Mountain Crest Construction 24.01.2021

The next big step! I've started my schooling towards getting my Builders License. Definitely a different feeling to be back in school...especially online school. But the rewards will hopefully be great! Time to buckle down so I can start building new homes start to finish

Can you say open concept? These are before and after shots. Taking out this wall to create a massive opening needed a big beam, this wall, definitely, was no exception! I finished up just before the holidays at this job. It's all ready for new drywall to be installed, starting tomorrow. Then it will be back to it getting the fireplace all ready for install and prepping and installing all new flooring! #mountaincrestconstruction #openconcept #dewalttough... #martinez #moredaylight #bigimprovement #bigbeams See more

Finally got a home project done. Since we moved in 3 years ago our woodshed has been in disrepair. It's now been leveled (no more sagging roof) and it has been raised up over 3 feet!

Quite awhile back I finish up all the structural issues that needed fixing at @gardomlakecamp. Definitely transformed the room a lot! The bonus is it should stop sinking now that the rot is all gone. We put in 2 giant 24' long engineered beams, fixed about 30 floor joists that we compromised or not long enough and built a shear wall that has a nail every 3 inches or more on the black lines(swipe to the end). It definitely was a job that had a lot of hidden surprises, but it ...turned out great in the end! The lodge is good to go now and the finishing is well underway. Go book your group events there for later this year and see how awesome it looks for yourself! #mountaincrestconstruction #bigbeams #jackitup #allbetter #wideopenspaces See more
