We can't believe how fast this month has flown by! We are so much closer to summer - we can almost feel the warm beams on our faces. Some of our favourite places to explore in the summer: - Hiking the Beehive... - Paradise Valley - Takakkaw Falls ... to name a few! @lostcoordinate

These little guys are starting to emerge as the sunshine warms the valleys and mountain tops, freeing them of winter's grasp. They are quite skinny after the long winter, but no doubt will be much plumper after the hiking season begins... Reminder: Please do not feed the wildlife in Banff National Park or elsewhere! The mountain views surrounding our mountain cabin-esque lodge are some of the best around. We love waking up to the sunkissed mountain tops and choosing which trail to explore that day. Who wore it better?! Just a reminder - as we move into spring and summer, this area is quite often inhabited by a bear family. This isn't the only place in Banff you should be carrying bear spray! Anytime you are adventuring outside (except while in town) you should be prepared with bear spray. Places you don't want to take your bear spray: into any stores, restaurants, or hotel areas.
