Christmas update from MKK We are planning a Santa Drive By in the original boundaries of MKK Concession St. to Upper Gage to Fennell to Upper Wellington St. We will go up n down the side streets. We are looking for a couple of vehicles to join us! We need a Santa! We are asking for a donation of candy, treats, to make up goody bags to hand out. We will not be collecting Food or Toys. We are asking for Coin Don...ation to Support our Christmas Gift Card Outreach Due to Covid Once we have an update you can message your address for donation pick up. Annual Christmas events n programs have been changed. Once we arrange Santa we will send more info out, We are willing to expand the drive by on the mountain. MKK will be hosting a Covid Santa Drive By Day. Dec. 5 starting 5 p m We will be starting at Concesdion n Mountain Drive Park. I will post the route on Friday . We will be collecting coin for our Walmart Gift Cards please put in a zippy bag. Elves will be handing out good bags for the kids with long tongs. If we don’t go down your street you can meet us at one of many stop spots. Watch us live on face book fir the route in your area.

Christmas is 2 months away as of yesterday. Due to Covid we do not have a location to host our Annual Christmas events. We will not be able to host Santa in person, we will not be able to host our Christmas Hampers or pre Christmas gifts n toys. We have to find a different way to support our working families. We are asking our supporters to purchase Walmart gift cards. This way the families can purchase a toy n gr...oceries needed. Great turnout today for Mountain Kidz Klub. Was not super pretty out. But typical weather for Halloween. Lots of families driving by getting goodies. We were delightfully happy. Thank you again to our wonderful volunteers who offered their shared driveway and those who came all dressed up and put lots of smiles on many faces.

Last week I started a fundraiser for a Reading program. Thank you for the donations. If you still want to support this New outreach you can send a E Transfer to [email protected] The idea is to outreach from my home, keep Giggles involved in the community after 30 years of service. And include my baby grandson Grayson, and MKK. The plan is to mail a reading book every other month. The first month the parent reads to their child, second month the child will read or tell ...the story to the parent ( the best they can). Once the book is read it can be past on to another child. My plan is to mail the books out next week. If you have New books to donate, or want to help with this New reading program please message me. This Friday I will be 60, Giggles the Clown will be 30 years of community service that started at Eastmount Park, I was coaching 2 teams and we needed a Clown for Fun Day! It is now time to start something for me but to continue my outreaching the way I see the need. I want to start a program that collects New Books for children so their parents can to read to them. I will collect New soft cover books so that they can be mailed to kids in the community. If you want to donate $ or have a contact for kids books please contact me. My New Outreach will be called. Giggles started at Eastmount Baseball 30 years this Sept. 11, it was on Kathy's 30th Birthday Giggles was created to bring smiles and awards on Funday for the baseball kids. Kathy was vice chair of the baseball committee and also coached 2 teams back in 1990. See more

We are not able to register for school supplies at this time. We are begging for Donations, our Supplies are locked in the centre due to Covid! We are starting from scratch. We are in need of individual hand sanitizer. for all grades, We will only be able to supply grades 1-8 this year.
