COVID-19 has changed the world, and has shifted many of us as individuals and families. As part of my COVID-19 response, for all of my services, I will be offering all of my fees based on a sliding scale of affordability. This is to help ensure that all individuals, children, youth, couples, and families are offered a full chance to explore and recognize what this trying time has meant to them. Hello Folx Time for a bit of an introduction. About me: my name is Caylan Graham, and I like books, bears, beets, and staring off into the mountains contemplating existence.... I'm that person at parties that finds the little nooks, preferring intimate conversations and avoiding small talk. I can be a little bit socially awkward, but I am authentic and genuine. I believe in kindness, to others and to yourself. I am a passionate parent. This doesn't mean being perfect, it means teaching that it's ok to get messy, get emotional and make mistakes. We get to use these experiences to show our children real examples of how we learn, regulate and cope with the intensely difficult feelings that can come with life. I believe in shame-free parenting. Since childhood and then amplified in adolescence, I struggled with anxiety, feeling alone, and different. I saw others that seemed care free, and happy, but I didn't know how. This brought my path into neuroscience and psychology, my own therapeutic endeavour, eventually finding myself, and with that, finding emotional/mental stability. I then had some set backs with my physical health (#fertility #breastcancer), that guided me to dig into my indigenous roots, healing myself further from a holistic perspective. Whether you're an individual, a couple, a youth, a family, ltbtqia+, or from a different cultural background, you can expect to come in and find a safe space, to be yourself, and be supported. Counselling options will be opening up soon, and I am currently offering support with childbirth education, fertility, and breastfeeding support both in person and online.
