Mountainview Free Methodist Church 25.05.2021

As we are in the Red zone and many places are closed, I would like to reassure all that we are still operating, our church services are still on every Sunday. According to the regulations set by the government, places of worship in the red zone can have a maximum of 25 people attending service, So we have separated the services onto two groups. our first service is 10am to 11:30 and the second service 12pm -1:30pm. if you would like to attend please contact Pastor Normand Doucette to inquire on which service you could attend. All safety precautions observed and everything is disinfected between each service. Hope to see you there. Contact number 514-591-7842

These past few days have been hard and discouraging on many of us, a number of areas have been moved into the Red Zone, and the many of the surrounding areas into the Orange. I want to remind our Brothers and Sisters that we are to focus on Jesus during these difficult times, do not let fear take over your thoughts and consume all your time and attention, it will only cause discouragement and steal your Joy. Yes we are aware of what is going on, but we stand firm in faith and trust that our Lord and Savior is more than able to see us through. Keep smiling and giving Him Thanks

Good morning so this is how it will go on Sunday Morning when we return to church for the first time in 3 months. Please follow these instructions. First if you are sick, have any symptoms of a cold please stay home. When you arrive at church you will be greeted by my loving wife who will give you hand sanitizer and invite you to go right in, please do not stay in the lobby go right into the sanctuary and find a seat, If you wish to wear a mask as you come into church, that i...s fine however you do not have to, guidelines request you wear a mask if you will be unable to stay within 2 meter social distancing, that is why it is important to go right into the sanctuary once you sanitized your hands, but if you wish to wear a mask please feel comfortable doing so, we will have some mask available if you don't have one. During the service you may take off the mask as again guidelines permit this sense we will not be moving around and coming within the 2 meter guideline. There will be social distancing in the sanctuary so your typical place of seating may not be available, again just follow the instructions for seating so we comply to the guidelines. Once you are seated please try to remain seated and not roam about the sanctuary unless you need to use the rest room, Concerning rest rooms there will be only one available, the downstairs rest rooms are off limits for the time being in order that after each use it can be wiped down and disinfected. after service if the weather is permitting I invite anyone who wishes to, that you bring a bag lunch and we can enjoy some fellowship outside and have a picnic, if the weather does not permit this we will not be having a lunch afterwards, I know we are not use to all of this but lets just be grateful that we are able to gather together and worship as a Body of Christ, as well as keeping everyone safe and sound. Looking forward to see all our church members there. See more
