End of July celebration with the team! A beautiful afternoon, steak lunch and good times! We appreciate all the hard work our team has done during this crazy year.

T’is The Season For Cropping Not the typical time of year for cropping for a conventional farmer but in the sod farming business, this is the optimal time. We try to do all our seeding from mid-July to mid-September, when the days start to get shorter, the temperatures get cooler, and there’s a higher chance of rain. Then after all the seeding’s done, we wait, maintain for two years, harvest, then start the process all over again.

TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT Marius Gervais- Lead Foreman With Mountainview since 2002, you will see him out on the job site giving the areas that finishing touch. Married to his sweetheart Nathalie for 24 years and they have three kids together (Kevin 23, Marie Claude 20 and Sebastien 18). Nathalie says he is a loving father and a hard worker (we agree!). Not only is he an amazing foreman but a pleasure to work with. We are proud of you Marius and thank you for all of your hard work.
