Made a discovery yesterday. The last piece of log 113 still in captivity. Don’t let its looks fool you, this is still an amazing top. It has some very nice grain, probably one of the finest of its size. It has a knot that has down graded it so it will not make a bass top. 29 of its length is perfect at full width though. Is anyone interested in material like this for bracing blocking or any other purpose? What you’re looking at is spruce 2 thick by 4-6 wide by about 1’-1.5’ long. These short lengths are a byproduct and I am currently sorting out the clears and the knotty ones are going as firewood. Message me if you want to buy this stuff by the box.
