On behalf of the #MPMHA board and entire Blades association, John Bennett and Susan Pearcey presented a donation to Kids Help Phone NL, matching the donation that the City Tire Blues were able to provide with their participation in the 2021 Good Deeds Cup. The players, coaches and parents were true ambassadors of the association but more importantly the power of the game of hockey to unite behind a common cause. The awareness they helped create about Kids Help Phone and the valuable work they do is immeasurable. Each player should be very proud....awesome job!!!! #U13CityTireBlues #GoodDeedsDay2021 #Blades

Registration is now open for this years Metro Minor Ball Hockey League. The league operates out of the Feildian Gardens and runs from the end of May to the first week of August. During the 2020-21 season, MPMHA have initiated Teammate of the Month awards for players that are true examples of what a teammate is supposed to encompass. Several MPMHA players were nominated by their coaches and a section committee within the association made the final selections. Runners up for the month of November were Brody Lawlor (Coach Scott Hurley) from the U 13 Capital Mitsubishi Team as well as Jackson White (Coach Mike Kelly) from U11 Bolts. Runners up for the... month of November were awarded $25 Gift Cards sponsored by WestSide United Ball Hockey (Trevor Budgell/Renee Spurrell) The overall Teammate of the Month was Sophia Crawley from the U9 Female Capital Hyundai. She was awarded a $25 Gift Card and a $25 donation to the charity of her choice which was Nevaeh’s Angel Foundation sponsored again by WestSide United Ball Hockey. Thanks to all the MPMHA coaches who nominated their players for November awards and stay tuned for upcoming December nominations. December awards will be sponsored by Capitol Drugs.
