Alright, so we are back in ORANGE phase... all we can do is smile, take a deep breath, keep our chin up and continue to follow all the precautions and protocols. Nothing changes for us here at the clinic, we continue business as usual. We have had our top notch COVID plan actively in place since last spring. Please continue to fill out the COVID questionnaire before your appointment and follow the same procedure upon arrival as before. ... Thank you for your cooperation. We can do this!

TIME TO RECHARGE AND CELEBRATE! Karen and I are taking some much needed vacation time to recharge after completing our SECOND YEAR OF OSTEOPATHY!! Yay us! This means that she will be off all week (returning August 10th) and I will be off for two weeks (returning August 17th). ... We have 3 things we would like mention before disconnecting for some family time: 1. We want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our clients for their patience, loyalty and cooperation during this crazy time. Seriously, you have all made this return to work during a pandemic so easy and seamless. We are grateful for you. 2. There will be a slight INCREASE IN OUR PRICES starting SEPTEMBER 1st by $5 for our massage therapy sessions. This is not due solely to the added expense of PPE, but due to the fact that we will be implementing more testing, assessments and Osteopathic techniques during our treatments. This will bring our 60 minute massage therapy session to $95 (tax included). 3. You MAY BE ASKED to bring shorts and a tank top/sports bra to your next appointment as we transition into a more Osteopathic approach. We are excited to be combining our years of knowledge and experience as Registered Massage Therapists and our now 2 years of Osteopathic training. As of right now, Karen Basque and I are still able to continue working during ORANGE phase. Business will continue as usual and we will continue to adhere to strict sanitizing and mask wearing rules. We ask that our clients who are experiencing Covid symptoms, who have travelled outside of the Atlantic bubble, or who may have been exposed at one of the many local public locations listed by the province to PLEASE RESCHEDULE your appointment. We will also remind clients to ...remain in their vehicles until they are waved in by their therapist to allow us the time we need to disinfect the clinic space between appointments. WE’RE BACK!! ....Well almost. Karen and I have a few required PPE items (lab coats, masks, face shields) that are scheduled to be delivered this week. If all arrives on time, we will open our door again on TUESDAY MAY 19th!! What to expect from us when you return?... - Squeaky clean clinic meeting all required disinfection standards(and full disinfection between appointments) - We will be sporting new lab coats and masks(both changed between clients) - We are required to wear face shield, gloves and hair covering if working in a client’s mouth - Hand sanitizer will be at the entrance of the clinic and in each treatment room - Less unnecessary decor to ensure all surfaces are easy to disinfect - A friendly phone call 3-5 days before we see you to answer a short questionnaire for your file - The same cozy welcome, top notch treatments and great tunes you have always experienced! What do we expect from you? - Please be patient with us as we adapt to our new normal - All clients must REMAIN IN THEIR CAR until their therapist waves them into the clinic - Clients must use hand sanitizer when they enter the clinic and proceed directly to the treatment room - Clients can choose to wear a mask but we are not requiring it as we will have them on and there will only be one client per therapist in the clinic at a time (anyone accompanying you must remain in the car) - E-transfer is preferred when possible *** PLEASE RESCHEDULE should you feel any symptoms prior to your appointment!! In light of today’s announcement from the Government of New Brunswick (to close all non-essential businesses effective tomorrow) Karen and I have decided to close the clinic for two weeks. We plan to reopen on Monday the 30th or Tuesday the 31st but will reassess the exact date of return as the next few weeks unfold. It was a tough decision, but we feel a very necessary and responsible one. Our clients’ health and safety is our number one priority. We want to encourage all t...o stay home with their loved ones during this crucial time of isolation. Hoping to do our part to flatten the curve of the spread of Covid-19. Stay safe. We have just stocked up on Jen’s amazing hand sanitizers (with alcohol) and surface cleaners. For those who know me, know I am a clean freak and disinfecting things non stop. Rest assured, Karen and I are taking every precaution and ensuring our clinic is wiped down even more intensely than before between each appointment in combination with frequent hand washing (as we always have). Please contact the clinic to reschedule your appointment if you are feeling any cold or flu-...like symptoms. We cannot take any risks as we do have clients with compromised immune systems. As you may have guessed, the clinic will remain closed until further notice. We will continue to update our clients as the weeks/months unfold with any new information from our association. Everyone can tell you about the mobility they no longer have or the things they wished they could still do but lets be grateful for what our body IS capable of doing and take things one day at a time to make small changes towards more strength and movement. This is a great program for anyone wanting to start with the basics. Cheryl and the coaches are very knowledgeable and they will help guide you through the workouts to make sure you are taking on a routine that is safe and manageable for where your body is today.
